    A Technical Description of a Proprietary Invention.
  • Provisional Patents
    A less Technical Description of a Proprietary Invention, which essentially acts as a placeholder for a more formal Utility Patent.
    More technical filings must be made within one year.
  • Design Patents
    Protection on tangible shapes and layouts of inventions.
    Also applies to software based inventions.
  • Plant Patents
    Protections for specialized plant hybrids, produced outside of breeding or genetic modification, usually through cutting or grafting methods.
